Terrorist Attacks On Military Officers, Main ‘Facilitator’ Arrested

ISLAMABAD: Implementing Agencies Act (LEA) have claimed to have arrested the main facilitator of the three terrorist attacks against military official in Islamabad, with links to foreign agencies. The facilitator detained subedar Zaffar Iqbal, a retired junior commissioned officer (JCO SSG was arrested in G-6 sector of Islamabad, while driving an International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) vehicle registration ICRC 72-31, Intelligence sources told Business Recorder on Monday.
They said Zaffar has admitted he was the main facilitator of the terrorist attacks on the three generals of Pakistan Army brigade in Islamabad. The sources said the arrested Zaffar Iqbal has close ties to the Captain (retired) Zaidi, owner of Inter-Agency Security Risk that was raided on 19 September and a large cache of sophisticated weapons without a license was confiscated. Captain Zaidi, a retired officer of the SSG was arrested at his Islamabad office of the security company.
Inter-agency security risk management is a partner of Dyncorp, a U.S. contractor providing logistical support to U.S. forces in Afghanistan said Zaffar Iqbal sources withdrew from the SSG in 1989.
