Karachi, Train Crash Toll Rises To 10

KARACHI, Pakistan: The death toll in a train accident near the Jumma Goth Quaidabad area of Karachi has reached 10 of 38 passengers were injured in the incident.
Allama Iqbal Express, which ran to the interior Karachi Tuesday morning, hit a stationary freight train in the area Jumma Goth.
The accident halted train traffic on the main runway. Railroad division superintendent has said that traffic will be restored within three to four hours.
Relief workers are trying to recover the dead and wounded of the damaged cars of trains. According to reports from several of the passengers still trapped in the bogies of the train damaged.
Several dead bodies and injured have been taken to Jinnah Hospital and other hospitals in Karachi. The wounded included women and children. According to the administration of Jinnah Hospital, the hospital also received a body of an unidentified child.
The relief train had not been achieved until the scene of the incident, reports said.

Twenty-four injured in German train crashBerlin – At least 24 people were injured when a regional train and a freight train collided in Berlin, German police said Friday.
The regional train, carrying 22 passengers, hit a slow-moving freight train carrying liquid gas at the Berlin-Karow train station late Thursday and was derailed by the impact, police said.
The injured were brought to nearby hospitals, five are in critical condition.
The cause of the accident remained unclear, police said.
