Syrtaki Dance
The Syrtaki or Sirtaki, was the name given to the combination of various Hasapiko (or Hassapika) dances, both in style and tempo variation, from its disclosure in the movie of Alexis Zorba (Zorba the Greek called in America). The Syrtaki is danced mostly in the taverns of Greece, with dances like the Zeybekiko (Zeimbekiko), the Tsifte-telli, and Karsilamas. A combination of either a Hasapiko Hasapiko slow and fast, or slow Hasapiko, Hasaposerviko, fast Hasapiko. It is typical of the musicians to wake things “after a slow or heavy (variable or ARGO) Hasapiko with half and / or fast Hasapiko.
