Eleven cars of the train derailed at 1:30 am near Banshkov train station, 40 km from here, after the train left the Pink City, North West Railway sources said.
After the derailment, a part of the ski compartment CA drilled and probably affected passengers, they said.
Welders are being used to remove the iron bars. While three of the dead have been identified as Sonal Singh (18) in New Delhi, S Kumar, Jodhpur and Ujjawal Vadhwa (27) of Jaipur, three bodies have not yet been identified.
Nineteen of the injured, including a New Zealand national Ana Elizabeth, had been admitted in SMS Hospital here.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 Lakh to the next of kin of the deceased.
An ex gratia of Rs one lakh would be given to l seriously injured and Rs 10,000 passengers who received minor injuries, the North West Railway spokesperson.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also announced a compensation of RS Two Lakh to another of the relatives of those killed and Rs one lakh to the seriously injured.
A sum of 50,000 rupees will be given to those who have received minor injuries.
Area West Railway Protection Commissioner Prashant Kumar Verma and RM NWR GM have left for the scene.
Twelve trains have been diverted including Delhi, Ajmer Shatabdi. The stranded passengers have been sent to Jaipur.
State-owned buses have been put into service to take passengers to their destination.
Derailment investigation ordered
Railways today ordered an investigation into the derailment of a train near Jaipur, which left six people dead.
Commissioner of Railway Safety, Western Circle, Prashant Kumar is investigating the accident, railway sources.
The Mandore Jodhpur-Delhi Express derailed near the city Bassi, 40 km from Jaipur.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked Minister of State for Railways E Ahamed to visit the crash site.
Member, Engineering (Railway Board) Rakesh Chopra has already reached the site along with senior railway officials said.
