Sanjay Dutt’s Decision Welcome by BSP

LUCKNOW: Welcoming the Supreme Court decision on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, BSP on Tuesday said that Samajwadi Party was expecting the decision and only doing “drama” here.

“They (SP) were doing ‘dramebazi’ here as they were expecting that such decision will be coming from the Supreme Court,” BSP national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra told reporters.

“BSP candidate (Akhilesh Das) from here is very strong and we will win the seat,” he said in reply to a question.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court disallowed Dutt’s plea to contest the coming Lok Sabha elections. The actor had been fielded by SP as its candidate for the Lucknow Lok Sabha seat.
