New Security Plan For NWFP SchoolsISLAMABAD: NWFP Minister for Education NWFP Sardar Babak Hussein has announced new security plan to ensure the safety of students in public schools.

In an interview to a private television channel, said under the new metal detectors plan worth Rs. 800 million will be provided to schools for their safety.

The Minister said that public schools in NWFP will reopen on Nov. 2. He said strict security measures have been taken to schools.

He said a security plan 17-point for schools has been raised. According to which schools will be equipped with metal detectors and a procedure for closing schools has become compulsory.

The Education Minister said the car parking in and around school buildings is prohibited while the special identity cards will be delivered to students.
