Kurbaan Movie Review

Kurbaan movie starring real life couple Saif ali khan, Kareena Kapoor, along with Vivek Oberoi , Om Puri will be releasing on 20th Nov 2009.

The film is directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar.

The story of Kurbaan is set against the backdrop of global terrorism and the distortion of religion.

The plot revolves around Avantika who is a teacher in a college Delhi. she’s just back from New york, because her father has suffered a heart attack. She meets a another professor called Ehsaan Khan , they began seeing each other and fall in love.

After a few month Avantika gets a call from her university in New York, asking her to come back for the Fall Semester. Avantika tells this news to Ehsaan. He in turn, says her even he wishes to come to the US with her, to find a job. But they have to get married.

Soon after the marriage, they leave to start a new life in New York. They buy a house in an Indian neighbourhood and move in. Just as they are setting up home, their conservative Muslim neighbours, Hamid and Anjum, invite them over for dinner.

Next follow a series of events that gets Avantika into danger and intrigue. As her life spirals out of control, Avantika comes to know she has been used in a huge game. And no one is to be trusted.
