Beijing: China says its exports fell by 13.8 percent in October over the same month last year as a fall in the country’s export sector decreased further.
It was the smallest decline in 10 months. Figures released Wednesday by the government of China also show imports fell by 6.4 percent, a slightly faster pace than in September.
Taken with the new figures on industrial production and retail sales, the data suggest that China is on track to meet its target of 8 percent economic growth for the year.
